Milestones

We demand the new government bring all Social and Community Care under the NHS, fully funded by general taxation. We think neither Social Care, Community Care, nor the NHS should be for-profit, but remain free at the point of use.

We want to reverse the changes to Social Care which have resulted in parts of it being transferred to local government, privatised and means-tested. We believe that trends in local authority budgets and Social Care funding since 2010 have harmed the sector and that immigration policies have contributed to staffing problems.
