Given that it has stated its aim of growing the UK economy, we think the Government needs to quantify the effects of exiting the European Union as soon as possible by setting up an inquiry.

I believe having left the European Union our economy has been significantly damaged. Additionally I think that the UK has been marginalised.

Government response

The Government has no such plans. On 19 May, the Government announced a new strategic partnership between the UK and the EU, which will make the UK safer, more secure and more prosperous.
