Milestones

We urge the Government to make private health insurance a protected worker’s right, similar to minimum wage and holiday pay.

This could ensure that employees have access to essential healthcare without depending solely on the NHS. We think this could enhance workforce health, stability, and productivity. If everyone with a job had private medical insurance, we think it would ease pressure on the NHS, get people back to work quicker, give them an incentive to work and save NHS tax expenditure for those who really need it.
