We think buying tickets for events has become a race between who has the most money and resellers aiming to make huge profits by cashing in on ticket sales. We think introducing stricter regulation could help ensure that legitimate fans have a genuine chance of being able to purchase tickets to events at a fair price. A recent example would be the band Oasis' tour where many genuine fans were priced out by dynamic pricing and touts reselling at extortionate prices.
