Milestones

I want statutory maternity pay to be raised because of the cost of living. Having a baby doesn't mean bills don't need to be paid. Bills stay the same but often people's income goes down after having a baby.

Some mothers are returning to work too early as they're forced to because they can't afford to pay their bills. Mothers forced to return to work could miss important months with their babies which we believe could be detrimental to their development. Some mothers are also going without meals to be able to afford necessities for the baby.
