I would like the Government to take action on the use of prong dog collars by introducing a ban and issuing fines to those who use them. We also think dogs should be taken away from their owners if they repeatedly offend.
We do not see the collars as gentle training tools. We think they are abusive to use and are too normalised. They can cause injury to dogs and there are other ways to safely train an animal.
