We want the government to stop the selling of knives in store and online without background checks and a clear reason of purchase. We also think that knives should only be sold in specific stores.

We believe that in doing this, we could see a reduction in the purchase of knives and a knife crime. Some people purchase knives with the intent to kill and not for the use of cooking. We think that when teens purchase knives, they don't get checked for ID.
