Milestones—
I believe that there should be a government scheme to make public transport fees reduced or free across the country, in addition to the existing bus fare cap.
I think doing so could address climate change, cost of living, and urban accessibility. Public transport can help reduce global emissions, and it has been reported that some cities with free transport see higher ridership and lower congestion. We believe this policy could ease financial strain, improve air quality, create safer streets, and has the potential to lead to a more sustainable and inclusive society.
