I want the Domestic Abuse Act to be amended to recognise that child against parent violence by under 16’s is still a form of domestic violence.
I wish for more recognition and understanding of the issue & more funding for support for victims to access help during and after their experiences. For an issue that affects many parents or caregivers I believe there needs to be far more awareness & support for families during and in the aftermath. Currently there may be little to no consequences for the perpetrators, with blame often placed mainly on the parents.
