We would like the Government to make autism training mandatory for all teachers.

I believe that if teachers were made to complete autism training as a mandatory requirement, this would give them some understanding of how people living with Autism can struggle in school and how best they can support their students as currently there is very little understanding with in schools. I think that this may also help some children remain in mainstream schools instead of having to go to specialist schools, as the child may not actually need to attend a specialist school if mainstream ones could support.
