We ask the Government to ban the import and sale of all fur products in the UK. Fur farming is banned here due to cruelty, yet imports support suffering abroad. We believe that this ban would align UK laws with ethical and environmental responsibility, closing the loophole that fuels the fur trade.

Fur farming is banned in the UK, but we believe that importing fur allows cruelty abroad to thrive. Animals on fur farms endure lifelong confinement in tiny cages, suffering immense stress and horrific executions like gassing and electrocution. We hold that fur production pollutes water, air, and soil and involves toxic chemicals. With ethical and sustainable alternatives widely available, continuing to import fur contradicts UK values of compassion and environmental responsibility. We believe a ban would close this harmful loophole.
