We want the government to require garlic and other alliums to be listed as recognised allergens on food labels.
It is recognised that garlic and other alliums can cause an anaphylaxis but it is currently not know how many people have this allergy. We think that further research and investigation is needed to ensure the correct guidance is issued to food manufactures/retailers to prevent allergic reactions.
