I would like Parliament to mandate that in order to drive a motor vehicle, an additional requirement is imposed. That requirement would be that the vehicle clearly displays a number that corresponds to the number of penalty points the driver has on their license.

I believe that this will increase the safety of the roads because the general public will be able to be aware of drivers who have proven themselves to be dangerous with only one glance at the vehicle. This could allow other road users, as well as pedestrians, to be able to adapt their driving or walking in a manner as to mitigate the risk of the driver.
