Milestones

We urge Parliament to help improve Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) outcomes by funding the development of a new COPD Strategy.

We would like the strategy to include: - psychological screening and mental health intervention. - funded COPD research to explore potential holistic care. - raising awareness to help reduce stigma. It is estimated COPD affects over a million people in the UK, costing the NHS an estimated £1.9 billion annually. Despite this, we believe that it is underfunded, stigmatized, and poorly integrated into care.
