Milestones

The BBC’s licence fee income in 2023-24 was £3.7bn. Agricultural property relief and business property relief changes in the budget are forecast to raise £0.52bn/year by the end of the forecast in 2029-30. Government should instead divert 15% of the licence fee income to raise £0.55bn/year.

I believe there would be no material impact on viewers and that this would help ensure no loss of farms or food security issues. I think this is a better way of raising the money.
