Milestones

We want the Government to introduce maintenance payments from third parties found liable for the breakdown of a couple's marriage and subsequent divorce to the blameless partner(s).

We feel that a third party can influence the couple's circumstances which can contribute to them fighting and divorce. We think that the way assets are split in a divorce is unfair if a third party has contributed to the circumstances. We feel that marriage breakdown is emotionally difficult for the couple, their parents, children, the couple's relatives, and therefore third parties should be held responsible.
