Milestones

We call upon the Government to introduce legislation that means NHS health records are handled by an independent third party to ensure transparency, accountability, and the highest standards of data protection.

The NHS provides care to millions and collects and maintains an extensive repository of health records containing sensitive information. The NHS has control over the handling, sharing & storage of these records. We think this unilateral control can result in conflicts of interest, insufficient oversight, and diminished public trust.
