Milestones

I believe that every vote should be final and secure, and that using pencils for ballots may create a risk of votes being erased or altered. To protect our right to fair elections, we want the Government to require that ballots be marked with pens instead of pencils.

We think this simple change will help ensure that every vote is a true and final record. We believe that requiring pens to mark ballot papers will protect our vote, increase public confidence, and be a simple, low-cost change.
