We think non UK registered vehicles entering mainland Great Britain should have to pay a charge for use of UK roads. The charge would either be an entry charge per visit or a charge that would cover one year’s road use by that vehicle.
UK vehicle owners are charged road tax to use the UK roads. We believe that the UK road system needs substantial further funding especially for basic repairs like potholes. We would believe that this change would raise hundreds of millions of funds for repairs.
