Energy Bills in the UK are some of the highest in Europe & at the same time the Energy Firms continue to make large profits Introduce an Annual Windfall Tax on the most profitable firms & use the money to provide support to elderly or vulnerable people not in receipt of the Winter Fuel Allowance.

We think no one should be cold during the winter months in the UK in 2024. Whilst the Winter Fuel Allowance does provide assistance to some of the poorest pensioners, we think the current cut off means that others will still struggle to pay their bills & heat their homes adequately. We think other people who are below state pension age, some with children, are in the same situation.
