Why should someone doing 1000 miles per annum pay the same VED as someone doing 100000? The greater the mileage the greater the pollutants and infrastructure wear and tear.

We think if the government are serious about reducing pollution this change could penalise those who pollute most and help those who only have a vehicle due to necessity.
