Milestones

We think the UK government should leverage its diplomatic influence to advocate for the protection of Hindu minorities in Bangladesh.

We think this may be achieved by urging Bangladesh to take action to uphold human rights and religious freedom, emphasizing these issues in bilateral discussions. We think the UK should consider imposing targeted sanctions. We think the UK should support international monitoring of the situation through the UN and other bodies to ensure accountability. By maintaining economic ties, we think the UK can press Bangladesh to protect Hindus and foster a more inclusive environment.
