Milestones—
We call upon the UK Government to introduce and pass legislation that makes it illegal for any political party to remove or replace an elected Prime Minister without a General Election.
We believe that re-electing a Prime Minister without the consent of the people undermines the very principle of democracy, and we believe this can create a situation where political elites, rather than the public, decide who leads the country. We think this creates a precedent for ignoring the public's wishes and could diminish the legitimacy of political decisions and government actions.
