I think that single/lone parents should be protected under the Equality Act. Single parenthood is not included. They're not legally protected from discrimination based on this.
I think that single/lone parents should be protected from discrimination under the Act. This may help schools implement more lenient policies for single parents, understanding that parenthood can be more difficult for them as they are on their own. I also think this protection would help with flexible working policies for single parents.
