The Government should require the NHS to deny free healthcare to anyone that’s been found to smoke or vape, as we believe this will allow for cost savings across the NHS. We think that anyone who needs care should then be charged, which could potentially make the NHS money.

We think this would lead to a financial gain for the NHS and could be a method of getting people to quit or a method to stop them even thinking about smoking or vaping in the first place. We feel that smoking and vaping costs the NHS large amounts of money for something that is preventable, and this would make for a great reason to never start / to stop. Additionally, we think this could help in pulling the NHS out of a financial crisis.
