We want the government to increase vetting for child minders, doctors, teachers, nurses, police staff and police officers. We want them to have backgrounds checks much more often.

We think that doing more vetting and background checks on those who work with children and vulnerable adults could save lives and may stop children, teenagers and adults becoming victims of abuse.
