Milestones

We want the government to legalise pepper spray as a method of self-defence to improve the safety of women. It was reported in October 2024 that since 2020, 25 women have been violently killed in Northern Ireland. Many other women are attacked and sexually assaulted.

By providing this method, women could feel more secure and feel like they have an opportunity to defend themselves without causing great harm.
