Re-establish a Civil Defence Corps or similar agency to address modern threats like climate disasters, pandemics, and nuclear incidents. This organisation should work with services, train the public, conduct community drills, and develop fallout shelter plans and radiological safety procedures.
The UK is facing significant challenges, including climate change, pandemics, cyber threats, and rising nuclear tensions. We believe that reinstating a Civil Defence Corps would prepare communities for emergencies, reduce loss of life, and strengthen national resilience, while fostering unity and restoring public trust in the nation's crisis management capabilities.
