Milestones

Increase powers of Ofcom to regulate these companies in same way it regulates Royal Mail. We feel that any delivery company advertising a 24 hour or next day service should be obliged to deliver within that time frame.

We want them to be fined for failing to meet delivery targets in the same way as the Royal Mail. We feel that the service to rural communities by some courier and next day parcel delivery companies is woeful. We feel the situation is aggravated by the lack of effective customer service departments leaving the recipient helpless throughout the ordeal. We also want this to be addressed by the regulator.
