I want the government to allow people to create their own private police forces, but the legislation needs changing so this can be made possible.

The offence of impersonating a police officer under section 90 of the Police Act 1996 would need to be removed and regulations would need to be put in place to establish the powers of private police forces. I think that the current public police force is being strained to the maximum.
