We want the Government to invest more in prisons to create better conditions and increase access to skills training and rehabilitation. We believe prisoners need discipline but prison should be more than just punishment.

We believe that if prisons become places where criminals can learn from their mistakes and reform, develop new skills and life disciplines, they will leave and become better contributors to society, and lead a more productive life. We think that if we treat them poorly they may make the wrong choices and end up behind bars again.
