We call on the Government to create a hospitality internship programme for EU interns to help fill 121K vacancies in UK Hospitality according to the ONS. We would like this programme to be an approved government authorised exchange scheme.

Hospitality is our third largest employer with 3.5 million workers, and a fast-growing economic sector, but has significant labour shortages. We believe this programme will safeguard hospitality's contribution of £93 billion to our economy by filling short term vacancies whilst Sector-based Work Academy Programmes ramp up. We believe there is significant demand for internships from the EU, and this will promote the UK as a destination for interns.
