Milestones

We urge the Government to severely restrict the right to obtain ILR for migrants who came to the UK after 2021. We believe the exact requirements to claim ILR should be reviewed, so that only a small minority of migrants who arrived after 2021 can permanently stay in the UK.

We believe the number of recent arrivals since 2021 is too large and is placing unsustainable pressure on UK housing and public services. We believe only a minority of the most valuable post-2021 migrants should get the right to ILR in the UK.
