We think that students should be allowed to use their phones during break and lunch because it provides them with the opportunity to connect with people. Phones can allow students to stay in touch with family and friends, access helpful resources, and arrange group activities.
Students could also use apps for relaxation, creativity, or even catching up on homework. We think that allowing responsible phone use fosters trust and teaches time management, preparing students for the real world where technology could be essential.
