We ask that the government bring in a new law which requires mandatory wearing of humane, approved muzzles, such as basket muzzles, by all fox hunting hounds when trail or clean boot hunting. Basket muzzles made from rubber plastic or metal allow dogs to drink, breathe & pant.

In the trail hunting process foxes may still be caught & killed due to the hounds being in fox habitat. Foxes, other wildlife, farm animals & domestic pets may be hurt & killed. We think this can be avoided by a legal requirement that all hunting hounds must wear muzzles when on a hunt.
