Currently, disabled parking bays can be painted either yellow or white. Yellow disabled bays are enforceable meaning that only disabled badge holders can park there. White disabled bays are only advisory, so technically anyone can park there.
We urge the government to implement regulations for all local authorities that require all disabled parking bays to be painted yellow, not white. We think this change could help reduce parking misuse and could also better support our community members with disabilities.
