We want the government to mandate daily physical education in schools, provide more funds for sports programs, and ensure trained teachers/coaches lead activities.
The funding could also help with the development of accessible facilities and create policies that integrate sports into the curriculum, making physical activity a non-negotiable part of education. We think that daily sports at school is crucial for children’s physical and mental well-being. Regular exercise can boost endorphin levels and help to reduce stress, anxiety and depression—common issues for today's youth. Sports can improve focus, academic performance, and self-esteem while fostering social skills and teamwork. With mental health challenges on the rise, we think that incorporating daily fitness routines into school schedules could provide a proactive approach to supporting emotional resilience and overall well-being.
