I would like the Government to make it mandatory that at least 1 AED is publicly accessible for emergencies in town centres & high streets. I think Cardiff town centre sets a good example of how this should be done, by having them in obvious cabinets.

During a cardiac arrest, every second counts. AED’s can be used by anyone as the instructions are spoken to the operator. I believe if these were available in public town centres everywhere, it could mean that there is a chance of saving a life while an ambulance is on route.
