Milestones—
Restrict the age of emergency response drivers (such as police officers) to person's over 25 with 3 years driving experience to prevent accidents involving police vehicles.
Police vehicles driven by young officers with limited experience and could cause harm to members of the public and damage to police vehicles that are subsequently replaced by tax payers money. Currently a police officer can attend an emergency response driving course as long as they have a valid driving licence. This means in theory a driver could be expected to advanced standards with little driving experience. We think this is unfair to the officer.
