Milestones—
We want the government to bring back school dentists. Many children in the UK struggle to access NHS dental care. We think that every child should be able to access a free dentist and the government has failed to provide necessary basic dental care to children.
We think the current system is not working and dentists have cited a lack of investment from successive governments. We think this basic standard of healthcare is being denied to under 18s to keep their teeth and gums healthy, free from infection and ensure they receive necessary orthodontic treatment. Due to the increased cost of living, many parents cannot afford private treatment.
