I believe parents should be held accountable, alongside their children, in a court of law for their children's actions. Parents should not be able to abdicate their responsibilities for their child's actions.

I believe parents have a duty to educate, act as role model and bring their children up as decent law-abiding citizens. I believe too many young people are committing serious crimes, but are not always tried in adult courts, and parents appear to have no responsibility for the children or their actions and abdicate themselves from their responsibilities as parents.
