Milestones—
We want the government to pass legislation that requires corporations/companies which deliver to the same addresses on a regular basis (defined as more than twice a month) to pick up and recycle their own packaging.
Nearly 4 billion packages were shipped in the UK in 2024, more than double the number shipped ten years earlier. The reason for this staggering increase is the growth of internet companies. Many companies deliver regularly to the same addresses, and we think it would be easy for them to pick up and recycle their used packaging, as is already done by progressive companies.
