We request the government to take immediate steps to amend existing legislation to mandate the provision of valid driving licence details by all individuals, irrespective of their nationality or immigration status, when applying for vehicle insurance.

My 20 year old son Cameron Arneaud was tragically killed on the 22nd December 2023 by a road user here illegally in the UK, who didn’t have a valid driving license or valid insurance. We believe If people were required to provide their licence information when purchasing insurance, this could help stop them using roads illegally, and help prevent deaths.
