Milestones

We would like parliament to introduce a law to make it a criminal offence for people or organisations not to clearly indicate where media or a form of communication has been partially or wholly generated by Artificial Intelligence.

We believe there is a growing use of AI to create deceptive materials with the intent to manipulate, deceive, harass or scam individuals and organisations, whilst also potentially disrupting society. We propose that all media and communications generated with the assistance of AI be clearly labelled with the phrase "Generated with the help of AI" and any images and video are watermarked. Non-compliance should be a criminal offence.
