Milestones

Introduce into the national curriculum information about food allergies and celiac disease with emphasis on their severity and impact on the functioning of sufferers.

We believe that misinformation surrounding celiac disease in particular is rife and growing, with recent articles citing it as a “fad”. In order to ensure sufferers are well supported we think mass education is essential. We think that ensuring awareness from a young age promotes understanding towards peers and develops general understanding of the severity of dietary requirements.
