We urge the Government to change the law to give parents the right to be informed when their child presents to a doctor threatening suicide.
We believe that parents should have the right to be given a chance to help save their children's life if there’s a known risk of suicide. We believe if children are reaching out for help from their doctor then part of the doctors duty of care should be passing on this information. We think patient confidentiality should not apply in these circumstances.
