I would like religious education within school settings to be changed to equality and acceptance and have the subject around not just religion but hidden disabilities. I want it to be a subject that informs kids about all kinds of equality and to accept children for who they are.

I think hidden disabilities aren’t often spoken about like they should be, and I believe if “Religious education” was changed to “Equality and acceptance” children would be taught about hidden disabilities and how everyone is different but deserves to be accepted for who they are. I want religion and hidden disabilities to be one subject about how everyone is different but everyone matters just the same.
