We want neighbours of adjoining properties to have a legal right to be consulted before a property can be turned into a holiday rental/short term let.
We feel that when you purchase a home, you want to live peacefully with minimal disruption. We have found that the owners, local authorities and police won’t respond to nuisance guests complaints and often rely on a complaint directly to the rental companies in the hope the listing is suspended. We feel this isn’t right. We believe that home owners/tenants are expected to put up with noise, rubbish, parking issues and security concerns whilst the property owner lines their pocket!
