Milestones

We urge the government to implement publicly accessible naloxone distribution points in areas with high rates of drug-related incidents. This initiative would involve installing naloxone boxes in strategic locations, such as on building exteriors, where they can be easily accessed in emergencies.

Each naloxone box would be securely locked and accessible via a code, which can be obtained by calling a designated emergency number when witnessing an overdose. This could ensures the medication is readily available while preventing misuse. We believe making naloxone easily accessible in high-risk areas could save lives and prevent overdose deaths. We urge the government to act now and support this vital harm reduction measure.
