Milestones

We believe the Government should review anti-dumping measures and duties. We believe the review should consider the merits of raising the level of import taxes on dumped goods, assess the impact of current measures on the UK economy and workers, and ensure they uphold fair trade policies.

We would like a review for the following reasons: - Unfair Competition – We are concerned about dumping undercutting UK businesses. - Job Protection –Dumping can lead to factory closures and job losses in key industries. - Fair Trade – a review could help level the playing field while maintaining global trade relationships. - Economic Stability – we believe it is necessary to prevent under-priced imports from harming UK industries and strengthen long-term economic resilience.
